VP Capital Fund I does not charge a management fee, so if there is no performance, VP Capital does not generate any fees for itself. This unique approach allows for better alignment between VP Capital and its investors.

We have a broad investment mandate, but our preferred focus is on ASX-listed equities. We construct our portfolio and select investment opportunities based on the following factors:

• our view on the cyclicality of the economy and the equities market;

• fundamental in-house research on the opportunities we invest into;

• industry and sector expertise, especially in the mid-cap and emerging sectors; 

• access to unique opportunities and ideas through our professional network in the sector

Management Fee

The Fund will not incur an investment management fee. The Investment Manager will only be compensated through the Performance Fee. The Investment Manager believes it should only be rewarded if the Fund is profitable.

Performance Fee

The Investment Manager will be entitled to receive out of the Assets of the Fund a performance fee of 22.5% plus GST per unit of the amount, if any, by which the Fund’s Current Unit Value has increased.
